my projector is showing green screen everytime i turn on the device this only works when i turn it on and off a few times in sequence. otherwise it is static on green screen! but anyone with this problem?

Hi @Rodolfoccsantos , Not something I've seen before myself when I had a play around with one a while ago.

Does the green screen happen when you press the home button on the remote?

And what content are you trying to view? Content from an external video device i.e. a laptop connected via HDMI; or from a built-in app; or content being mirrored from another device?

I have the exact same issue. In addition, the fan runs loud, untill the device suddenly shuts off.

I can hurry and try to via the remote swith between input (hdmi and the samsung tv) - I can hear the sound from the tv, but can't do anything with the controls since I only have a green image. No clue how to reach the reset menu from this point. Any tips?

I had this happen once, but I got rid of the dust and it helped.

Now I have another, similar problem.

When I turn on the projector, everything works but it displays everything in green, regardless of whether it is from HDMI, YouTube or even the menu. Everything in a green shade.I will add that it is much darker than normal and the focus cannot be adjusted automatically but manually.I clean it often, it wasn't flooded. Has anyone had this before?

It is much brighter in the photos than in reality.Literally everything is as green as you can see.

I have the same problem with this projector, I turn it on and after a few seconds it displays a green grainy screen, at the same time the fan runs loud and shuts off. Does anyone knows how to fix it?

Hello everyone. My projector was still under warranty so I sent it back to the service and it's coming back to me. I don't think there's a better solution. 🎁🎉

As far as I understand, this is a common problem. My device turned green the week its warranty expired. The service center offered a repair at a price equivalent to seventy-five percent of the purchase price.

I’ll think twice before buying another Samsung product.

I tried to clean because even after opening I couldn't do anything else and it didn't work. Remote help didn't help either. The only option is a warranty service in my case. I don't know how much it costs if the warranty runs out. Personally, I do not recommend wasting time on self-repair attempts and send the device back immediately as the first signs of green display are already there. Even if it happens from time to time, take pictures and join the shipment so that the service does not think about it, but works as with me and it took literally a week including shipping.

service center refuse to say. possibly some soldering is gone due to poor heat dispersion. I bought a wanbo, for less than the repair charge. surprisingly, while UI is clunky, it is actually a better device.
