Hey guys,

Re. the above soundbar.

I have it set to WiFi as it's connection to my tv which is a Samsung 50" crystal UHD 2019 model. Which is the better connection HDMI eARC or WiFi?

My WiFi is fibre and the tv is connected via ethernet and getting 955mbps download.

Hi there, from my experience the best quality I always get is through HDMI but wifi connection is good as well

Thank you, My tv only has 1 HDMI eARC socket which I'm using for a fire stick. A new tv is on the horizon.....

You can always try HDMI SWITCH/splitters. But you should be fine with WiFi i always found sound way bassier, richer plus dolby atmos sounds better in my opinion with hdmi

Oh believe me I am! I had a HW-Q60T before and I thought that was good! But this Q990D is something else! Fantastic bit of kit.

Yes earc results in better bandwidth/speed which should create higher quality audio. it is just a smoother process, though yourwifi would be fine.

Simple: cables (wired connections) will always give you better quality comparing to the wireless alternatives. Whatever you are up to, go for wired connections if possible. wireless keep as an option for convenience where wired connection is not physically possible.
