Sound bar HW-Q600B stuck on "CONNECT USB"

Hello, I hope you're doing well.
I bought a Samsung sound bar HW-Q600B in April 2023. Everything was okay until I moved to a new place, and when I tried to turn on my sound bar, it said "CONNECT USB" and nothing was working.
I cannot change it with the remote because it's not working.
I tried to change the source by the button on the sound bar itself, but it stuck on the "CONNECT USB" option. The power button is not working and if I press the source button on the device, it says "BYE" and nothing.
I tried to install the firmware update via a flash USB stick, but it showed me "UPDATE" and after a few seconds, the screen turned black, and nothing. I unplugged it for a while and plugged the power cable again, but no progress. I cannot reset the device either by pressing the + and - buttons.

Could you please guide me on this issue?

Was there ever a response from Samsung on this, I experiencing the same issue for a week .

I had the same issue. The problem is the soundbar will stay in update mode without showing any sign, and when you unplug it, it can damage the board. I took the soundbar to the official repair center, and they opened it and replaced the panel with a new one. There were some broken capacitors on the old board and some of the other components exploded. There are no software issues to be fixed. You have to send it to the repair center.

Good to know, I got mine reported in 2 days befor the waranty ran out! It'll be covered what ever the issue and solution. Thank you for the update.

Amrou, Since my soundbar was still under warranty, there is tech coming out to my house today to replace the board. He said that should fix the problem. Wait and see!

Hi there,

For my case, as some of the components blown up, they replaced the whole motherboard. You can find the motherboard under this name in Aliexpress:

MEPMP00030A Motherboard For Samsung Soundbar HW-Q600B

But it's a bit expensive (140 EUR) compared to the original price. I would recommend to contact Samsung customer service and get help from them. To be honest, this sound bar is *****, and not high-quality built.
