If you have a samsung TV, just initialize the soundbar and turn on then the TV will detect the soundbar and will ask you to connect the soundbar to the router which is already connected to TV .

My new Q990C soundbar is unable to register to my Samsung account via the SmartThings app. I can add it on the phone and then enter Wi-Fi password etc but it fails to register. Have tried to both 5GHz and 2.4 GHz networks. I am using a Verizon FIOS router.

My Q990C has connected to my WiFi in the past, but eventually it will fall off and I am forced to fight with it to get it to reconnect. Unplugging the Soundbar has helped me before but this time around it hasn’t worked. I can’t seem to get it reconnected anymore. I am receiving errors 15-200 and 15-100. My router is the ASUS GT-AX11000. My last Samsung soundbar was the HW-Q90R and that too had issues connecting and staying connected to WiFi. Samsung engineers need to fix their software issues and this awful connection process.
