I have the same problem. It has been going on for a year, and it is completely unacceptable. Samsung should not be asking us to solve their problems. Samsung should come up with a fix and tell us what it is.

Hi, so I'm experiencing a strange problem between these two devices...I have the sound bar connected through the dedicated HDMI eARC connection on the back of the TV.

When functioning properly, everything sounds great...however, I would say that every 3 to 4 times that I come back and turn the TV on after having watched, the sound bar is no longer "connected" to the TV according to the system. The only solution I have found is to then unplug the TV, wait for several seconds, plug it back in, turn the TV on...and things are back to normal. But again, only temporarily, until this happens (yet) again.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I am also having this issue. It has something to do with the Q80T and Signa S2 pairing. I previously had a TCL soundbar connected over HDMI-ARC and did not have this issue.
