is this an official genuine samsung charger

bought from amazon uk - is there anyway to check its genuine- i asked samsung support but they said they dont have the authenticity indicator? and said they cant verify serial numbers

they did say the listing was genuine, but want to double check

is there anything that looks odd or is missing?

It looks normal enough to me. If you have a phone capable of super fast charging, plug it in, the charging animation should be blue instead of green. Usually, blue means official charger (or really good fake) and green means non official charger. Can't guarantee that method but it seems to work for me

We can't find replicas and originals easily because they make copies so well. It's better to buy from an official Samsung store; please avoid buying from local shops or secondhand.

Yes, it won't affect your phone, even if I used it for a couple of years, but if it's genuine, not a problem.

To make absolutely sure it is genuine. Find the serial number and phone Samsung customer service. They will confirm the serial number for you. Easy!

@rileylovetech Trust me—that's bad advice to give. Unless it's a known brand such as Anker, do not trust replicas; they are made cheaply and lack the correct safety measures inside the circuit.

It appears to be okay to me.

To confirm, does the charger you bought say "sold by Samsung" or "sold and dispatched by Amazon"?

To be 100% sure, check the serial number with a member of the support team.

i asked support team, they asked for the model code and said it was genuine, they didnt ask for a serial number

I can confirm it's genuine. Because I have some experience differentiating Replicas.

• The text appears to be clear even the image quality is low. This is the strong indication that its Genuine. Because fake companies don't focus on boxes
