Just saw the video. As most reviews it's pretty useless with regards to the charging speed, it only shows they charge, which they all do. Also, having a switch that you turn off manually when the phone gets hot is really a pain and completely against the logic of adaptive QI2 charging.

I replaced my ESR with the cryoboost version with a cooling fan, and it does make a big difference In how long it can charge before it overheats. I also checked that once the phone reaches 41 degrees celsius charging slows down and the phone cools quickly (the fan really works), and the charger goes back to 15W charging. It's a great charger, I get around 60% charge per hour with my s25 ultra 5000 mAh battery.

The only thing I could not figure out is why sometimes charging starts at 15W right away, and sometimes not. I'm sure it's the phone that "decides" that and the charger only follows, but if it's not temperature related it must be the power management in the phone. Asides from that, I'm pretty happy with the ESR Qi2 cryoboost car charger. The fan is really quiet, by the way, really hard to hear it especially with the car noise, and the mount system is better than those in the video, IMO.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a qi2 wireless charger that can fast charge an S25+ with a qi2 case with a watch and buds?

I've seen that Samsung might be releasing such a thing but there's no sign of it for sale anywhere.

I bought a third party charger that was advertised as qi2 compatible "ultra fast". Whilst it's magnetic, it charges at a snails pace. My ancient Samsung duo charger does a better job without qi2.

The s25 series supports 15w fast wireless charging. You can kinda ignore the whole qi2 thing as the phone needs a case for it to actually qualify. And the speed wont go past 15w anyway. The fastest charger for it right now would be a samsung wireless charger that supports fast wireless charging 2.0.

That's the same as the s22. Nothing really changed other than they gave it a fancy name.

There was rumours it'd do 20w or more but all the specs lists show no change in speed

Samsung is selling Qi2 cases to make them compatible with wireless chargers that are Qi2 so you don't need to ignore it if having magnetic connections will make life easier. However, to clarify the answer to the question: there is no fast charging wireless. Qi2 MAY at some point be able to charge faster than 15w but not right now. The 20w wireless chargers take in 20w but only output 15w.

I purchased and tested the “ESR Qi2 3 in 1 Wireless Charging Station with CryoBoost, [Certified] Phone-Cooling Wireless Charger & 15W Qi2 Charger Stand”, and because of the design, it worked with all of the MagSafe cases I've purchased. Most cases have a raised rim around the camera lens area that prevents the case from making a flat connection the the Qi2 charging area. I hooked it up to my "HyperJuice 245W GaN USB-C Charging Station (for Desktop)" with the USB-C cable that came with the stand. To test the wattage draw, I plugged the USB-C cable from the port on the HyperJuice, into a "Plugable USB C Power Meter Tester", which was than plugged into "ESR Qi2 3 in 1 Wireless Charging Station". When I attached my S25+ or my wife's S25, both of which were in certified MagSafe cases, the phones said they were fast charging, and the meter showed that Qi2 was drawing 20.1W of power.

This stand comes with a Apple Watch module that plugs into the back of the stand, which I won't ever use, but I will plug the cable to my Galaxy 7 Ultra fast charger into the plug where the module was supposed to plug into, saving a port on my HyperJuice.

For the record, ESR also sells a 2-in-1 Qi2 charging stand similar to the 3-in-1 charging stand that doesn't have the 'CryoBoost' cooler on it, and doesn't come with the certified Apple Watch fast charging module. It still has the USB-C port for the module, on the back. I plan to pick one up to test, and if it doesn't get hot during charging, will put it on the night stand, next to the bed. I'll leave the original 3-in-1 stand in the office.

The MagSoft cases for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series phone have just recently come out. Problem some people are having with using Qi2 charging of the Galaxy S25 Series is finding a charger that allows the MagSafe case to lie flat on the charger. When I checked a couple of Qi2 chargers, the bottom camera lens was too close to the Qi2 charging magnets and prevents the case from lying flat on the charger. This results in only being able to charge at 7.5W.

Yes, if you want to 'super charge' your Galaxy S25, you would connect it directly to a 45W or bigger charger, but lot of people, like me, are looking for something that can 'fast' charge our phones, earbuds, and smartwatches at the same time.

Samsungs older fast wirerless charging 2.0 tech has 15w working fine. It just took a few seconds to align the device correctly. Third party magsafe cases have existed for older phones too. I'm not denouncing qi2 or anything. Its just the speed and magnets have already existed and been available. Even my s22 charged at 15w wireless

It's just a Qi2 charger, doesn't have a cooling fan like the ESR, and the magnets don't feel as strong as the ESR charger. It takes about between 30-45 seconds to kick into Qi2 charging, and fluctuates in the 20W range all through the charge.

It's on the night stand on my wife's side of the bed so she can throw her Galaxy S25 on it when she goes to bed.

Thanks. I asked about the cases because that seems to be what's preventing me to reach 15W with my s25 ultra. I have as ESR qi2 car charger, without cooling fan. Without case, after finding the sweet spot where alignment is just right I also get 20W to 21 W, measured with a usb meter placed between the power adapter and the ESR. However, with the 2 cases I tried so far I only get 12W. I'm now using the spigen tough armor which is around 3mm thick. The previous case was also thick. Which case are you using?

Best charging speed I experience with those chargers was 7.5W.

How long did you wait and watch the wattage meter after you attached you phone to the charger? When I attach our S25 or S25+ phones to the 'ESR Qi2 3 in 1 Wireless Charging Station', it takes about 15-20 seconds for the meter to show the 20-21W charging speed, and the phone to adjust the full charge estimate. On the 'Anker MagGo iPhone 16 MagSafe-Compatible Wireless Charger Stand', it takes between 30-45 seconds.

Have to tried connecting your ESR Qi2 car charger to a 45W or higher power supply in your house? If the meter shows it's charging at 20-21W, the problem could be the power in your car. My 2025 Blazer has a charging pad in it, and it and it's a Qi charger which I believe only does 7.5-10W. That's not a problem for me, as I only use the charger on longer trips. I've never tried connecting it to the USB-C port as the infotainment system connects via Bluetooth to my Galaxy S25+ so I'm able to use Android maps via the phone.

I did wait a while, and indeed th power starts low and in less than a minute it reaches 12W or so, then stays there. Like I said, if I do it without a case I do get 21W from the ESR, so the problem is not the power adapter I'm using I'm the car.

I notice all the cases you tried are slightly slimmer because they have a raised edge around the cameras. The spigen tough armor I'm using is completely flat and about 1mm above the cameras. I will try another case from spigen. The ultra hybrid is great, but I want one with a kickstand so I'll try the ultra hybrid s first.

My phone also does that after some time, maybe 10 minutes, with the ESR Qi2 car charger. It goes from charging at nearly 15W to about 3W, and the charger goes from drawing around 21W from the car to 9W.

So, qi2 works as it should in the sense that the charger adapts to the phone charging conditions. If the phone would stay cool, charging would go on at 15W.

So I just ordered the ESR Qi2 car charger with a cooling fan and we'll see how long it can go without overheating the phone and throttling. In my case, throttling happens when the phone reaches 40-41 degrees Celsius, according to accubattery. I'm hoping the airflow prevents the charging pad and the phone from reaching those temperatures at least for an hour or so.

I totally get the frustration—so many Qi2 chargers claim to be “ultra-fast,” but then you end up with a snail’s pace charge. I ran into the same issue and finally found something that actually delivers. There’s a Qi2 charger I’ve been using that’s certified, charges fast, and even has a built-in on/off switch to stop trickle charging and prevent overheating. It was actually tested in a recent “Battle of the Best Qi2 Chargers” comparison video against brands like iOttie, Mophie, and Scosche—and it came out on top. If you Google ‘Battle of the Best Qi2 Chargers YouTube,’ you’ll find the video breaking it all down. Definitely worth looking into if you want something that actually works. Have you found anything else that’s been solid for Qi2?

While the Cryoboost tech seems like a fantastic idea, it doesn't look like this will cover my wants. I'm looking for a tri charger for my Galaxy Watch 6, phone and Galaxy Buds. Something in the vain of what Samsung (likely canceled) was about to put out themselves, see pic.
