I bought a Galaxy S25 in December because it claimed to be compatible with my Oticon hearing aids. The S25 works extremely well with my hearing aids for podcasts, music, phone calls, and notifications. However, the Samsung Voicemail app will not play through the hearing aids. It only plays through the S25's speaker, and it plays at a very low volume. How can I fix this so I can hear my voice mails through my hearing aids?

Samsung would have to answer that. I can only guess. I typed the word a-i-d-s without the hyphens, and it got censored.

Thank you. I will try that. I didn't initially, because it seems like a problem with the Samsung Voicemail app. The other Samsung apps (podcasts, music, phone calls, and notifications) work very well with the hearing a-i-d-s.

Yeah me too, to see if that was what was going on. According to Google's AI, Samsung's AI is running amok censoring anything and everything, personally I don't think either of them should have as much control as they do... but it is what it is lol.

Thank you, @Tourbillon De La Vie ! I contacted my Audiologist who then contacted Oticon, the manufacturer of my hearing a-i-d-s. The Oticon representative said this is a known issue with Samsung's Voicemail app. It is not specific to Oticon's brand of hearing a-i-d-s. The Samsung Voicemail app does not view the voicemail messages as streaming audio, and no one knows why. Enough complaints may result in a fix by Samsung. In the meantime, there were two suggested workarounds:

Ask the cellular carrier if there is a third-party voicemail app;

Use the cell phone to call the voicemail number (*86 or press and hold the 1 key in my case). This allows listening to my voicemails over my hearing a-i-d-s.

I tried workaround #2. It works!

Thanks again, @Tourbillon De La Vie !
