Alright guys

my wife's S6 phone which she has had from brand new for years, has completely stop worked.. We thought it might have been the battery and took it to a repair shop, and they have just advised that even after installing a new battery it still won't turn on... And also our existing battery was fine.. At the moment they don't know why the phone has just stopped working and are going to do some more checks..

Anyone else experience the same problem??

Also if the phone is completely dead is there any way to get stuff of the built in memory, such as photos, etc??

chances are that it isn't the battery probably it is the power button has bust or something like the starter for the phone either way the phone would be getting old🤔

You can't get photos or anything off a dead phone. Hope you regularly backed up.

At the moment we are really just thinking about getting a new phone... Sounds like if it's the power button or even possibly the starter for the phone then that's going to cost quite a bit to fix/repair... Just need the images of it and possibly the apps data, etc, and transfer to another a phone...
