Package Installer Keeps Stopping

Hi,

I have a Samsung Galaxy s20, for some reason package installer keeps crashing on my phone, i have cleared the data/cache and force stop the app. I restarted the phone several times but still it keeps crashing when i am trying to install an Apk file. Unknown sources is enabled and i already have apk files installed on my phone. Can anyone guide me towards correcting this issue.

ive tried to use alternative apps for apk, but it seems that its a system issue based on the package installer on my phone.

A factory reset will repair any corrupt files or if you are familiar with Odin you could flash the device and retain your data.
