Youtube videos in full screen are chopped top and bottom, is there a way to change the screen shape to make it fit the screen please, e.g. make the video size smaller so that it fits on screen and possibly have black bars on the left and right of the screen?

Pinch on your screen as if you were zooming in on Google maps.

Unfortunately that doesn't work. It does change the size of the screen, but it sill only shows the reduced size of the video - the bottom and top of the video are still missing, the video is just smaller on the screen.

Have you tried Settings, Display, Full screen apps, then toggle on on YouTube.
Hopefully that helps.

Hi, I've just tried Settings, Display, Full screen apps, then toggle on on YouTube, unfortunately it didn't work, it still chops off the top and bottom of the screen.

Go on to your YouTube press your profile picture in the top right corner press general scroll down and you will see zoom to fit if that will help

Hi JimS10, thank you for the idea, unfortunately it didn't work. That option was already on, I turned it off, and still had the same problem.
