Firstly no. Samsung will not release the update at the same time for all devices.

Why?

Because there are hundreds of millions of devices out there and servers simply couldn't manage the volume.

Samsung sell far more devices by volume than Apple do.

Secondly, what promise? Samsung have not said what devices will be updated on a specific day / date as they release updates in batches. So what promise have they broken?

Before you write, understand that we are not here to attack anyone; please be polite. I do not know how old you are, but you need to learn to be respectful. And yeah, if they can release their One UI 9 update in South Korea or some other country, then why not in all other regions at the same time? That is what I am calling out here.

Kindly explain where my response was anything other than polite and respectful? You asked 2 questions and I answered both factually.

And my answer remains for your follow up. Why in Korea not not everywhere else at the same time? To answer that is to understand the sheer global size of Samsung and the volume of devices that require updating. Hundreds of millions is a huge mammoth task that takes time, Apple wouldn't be able to achieve it either if they had that many to update.

It's definitely staggered to manage server loads. Also early bug catching, I don't mind their home market facing the bugs first. If a roll out needs to be paused to fix bugs, I'm happy.

I agree with the response from the two Samsung Members Stars @Fiona26 @Piper123

Samsung releases and rolls out updates gradually. This is because the One UI software for the A-series differs from that of the S-series or Z-series.

A-series devices are designed differently and are not built with the same parts and components.
Unlike Google or Apple, Samsung has to manage multiple product lines.

If Samsung were to deploy an S-series or Z-series update onto an A-series device, the A-series phone would malfunction—resulting in an unplanned trip to an authorized service center.
