Nothing really to post , just my 1st entry as a member.

Membership started from worries about how to use my Galaxy A536 5G for longest lasting optimal balance performance/durability.

Purchaged may'24 it is now 1june'26 2yrs+.

Usage;

.Almost always on dark scrn.

.Whenever possible , all apps closed

.scrn near minimal clarity(low light)

.battery charging max. 95% and try to reload-recharge when lower than 60%.

. (intention) Avoid discharge lower than 20% in all conditions other yhan proper life saving use (i.c.o. main disaster).

.Blue Tooth off standard/ on only if really needed ( it eats battery life)

. scrn and whatsapp OFF , so only a direct phone call comes through and eml and whatsapp messages only update when I open those apps.

.NO use of any other 'socials' than whatsapp and eml (keep security high)

.NO passwords stored anywhere other than my proper 2 cell memory brain.

.Wherever possible refuse of 'cookies'

.Regularly cleaning with a special app

Hi and welcome to the UK community forum

I usually giggle a little when I see members spending their hard earned cash on their mobile device then spend months trying to work out how to eek an extra 20 minutes of battery life.

Use your device

Max what you do with it

Enjoy your device

Charge it when you need to & stop worrying about charging. That's what your charging brick is for 👏👏

Hi @Members_BN7nMOb The A53 was actually released in 2022 and at the time was one of the higher end A Devices.

whilst you can optimise the Battery want balance of Battery life and best experience, seems a bit of overkill. you may wish to only use certain connections when necessary and idea to put Apps which are not used regularly in sleep Mode and perhaps occasionally use a Power Saving Mode. Do not need to do a lot else though it is advisable not to let the Battery drop much below 20%.
