Currently no but maybe if you use a different launcher or if Samsung adds that option in a future Good Locks update.

Unfortunately, no, there is no official setting or standard customization tool on Samsung phones to change the physical shape of the brightness slider to have straight, sharp edges.
Under Samsung's One UI software, the slider design—including its pill-shaped, rounded corners—is baked directly into the system's user interface. Even Samsung’s powerful first-party customization suite, Good Lock (specifically modules like Theme Park or QuickStar), only allows you to change the colours and visibility of the panel elements, not the structural geometry or corner radiuses of the sliders themselves.

If you absolutely want a sharp, straight-edged brightness controller, your best alternatives involve bypassing the default quick panel slider altogether:
• Third-Party Volume/Brightness Sliders: You can find apps on the Google Play Store (like Volume Styles or various custom quick settings replacements) that let you fully customize the sliders on your phone. Many of these offer rectangular, sharp-edged themes (like a Windows or classic Android look) that override the standard layout.

Hex Installer is a third-party app available on the Google Play Store built specifically for styling Samsung One UI devices. It functions by building and installing custom overlay themes utilizing Samsung's built-in theme engine.

• How it works: It uses "plugins" modeled after different styles (like AOSP, Pixel, or Cyberpunk aesthetics).
• The Result: Many of these plugins replace Samsung's default rounded, pill-shaped quick panel elements—including the brightness slider—with sharp, straight-edged, rectangular UI boxes.

• Note: Setting it up requires a brief configuration process utilizing Shizuku or wireless ADB debugging, as Samsung blocks standard theme modifications.

2. Custom Volume Panels / Status Bar Replacements

If you do not want to go through the process of building a full system theme with Hex Installer, you can use overlay apps that draw a completely new panel over your native one.

• Volume Styles: While primarily meant for volume panel customization, this highly popular app allows you to replace or link sliders. You can choose a highly customized, straight-edged box style for your on-screen sliders.

• Mi Control Center / Power Shade: These apps completely replace your phone's notification shade and quick settings with a custom overlay. Within their layout settings, you can customize the icon shapes and slider styles to be squared/straight-edged rather than rounded.

• Caveat: Because these are overlays, they can occasionally stutter or conflict with Samsung's native system gestures...

..sounds too fiddly for me, why not just embrace rounded corners? 😂

Hmm... not too sure to be honest with you. As Good Lock is a Samsung product I guess you could always send feedback via 'support' on the members app?

I'm probably telling you complete rubbish, maybe someone in authority can help you better? 🤷
