topic Samsung Pass — 4 Feature Requests: Import, Watch TOTP, Cross-Platform, Multi-URI per entry in Mobile Apps & Services

There are three things that I want to happen for Samsung Pass to be a serious password manager.

1. Import from other apps

There's no way to migrate from another password manager without re-entering everything manually. Please add import support for Bitwarden, 1Password, Proton Pass, LastPass, 2FAS Auth, Aegis, KeePass, and Google Authenticator. Without this, no one with an existing vault will switch.

2. Galaxy Watch TOTP app

There's no native 2FA authenticator for Galaxy Watch. Please ship a first-party app that shows TOTP codes on the watch, syncs from Samsung Pass, and works offline. Apple Watch has this. Galaxy Watch should too.

3. Real cross-platform support

Samsung Pass doesn't exist on Linux, macOS, Firefox, non-Samsung Android, iOS. A password manager that only works on Samsung phones isn't a password manager. Bitwarden and Proton Pass are fully cross-platform. Samsung Pass needs to match that baseline to be worth using as a primary vault.

4. Multiple URIs per entry

Each saved credential should support multiple URIs — for matching and autofill. Many services use different domains for login and the main app (e.g. accounts.google.com and google.com), or have separate mobile and desktop URLs. Right now Samsung Pass only matches one URL per entry, so autofill silently fails on the others. Bitwarden and 1Password handle this with a URI list per entry plus configurable match rules. Samsung Pass needs the same.

These four things would make Samsung Pass genuinely competitive. Right now it's hard to recommend to anyone.

You can import from other apps.

Open samsung wallet. Settings, import and export samsung pass data, import data.

For the other 2 things, yeah it's annoying
