Whatsapp showing multiple messages.

WhatsApp is showing multiple messages when I only have one (Samsung Galaxy A15). I have cleared the WhatsApp cache and restarted my phone, but it hasn't helped. Can anyone help please?

Check if ur whatsapp is signed in on multiple devices

Make sure all apps within the Google Play Store and Samsung Store are up to date, and also check for software updates.

I can't see Samsung Store on my phone 🤔 I see WhatsApp updated yesterday; only had problems today. What would happen if I force stop WhatsApp?
