Notifications dont wake lockscreen

So for along time I have an issue whereby I used to get a notification, glance at my screen and it would wake and show it, but no more.

Been looking again through all settings lockscreen and notifications but cant see anything.

Wonder if this is some sleep, wakelock, battery save thing.

Maybe that setting its removed with an update.

Yeah thinking the same, annoying as when I remove my watch I usually have my mobile nearby and dont want to keep changing from silent to sound, a simple screen wake like the old days would suffice.

I agree. But if you grab the phone or show it a light the screen should turn on.
