So, after wanting Samsung Internet to come to PC I am happy to see that Samsung has finally released a beta in the United States and South Korea, I have managed to download the Beta and install it on my PC. After 10+ years of using Google Chrome, I have never switched to Samsung internet, I think my switch will be permanent as-long as Samsung internet doesn't get dropped from PC support.

I love Samsung privacy features built right into the browser itself, allowing me to block smart tracking and ads right from the browser itself without needing to download a third-party app from the chrome store. You can also sync passwords with Samsung pass if you're using that to store passwords and other such information. I personally use Proton Pass, purely because I use other services from that service.

The history sync between mobile and pc is great, I can view pages that I have viewed from my s25 Ultra, I know Google Chrome supports this but I have never been able to get it work. I am really pleased with how Samsung internet is performing, compared with other browsers I have tried in the past.

Though, I have uncounted an issue with the Brower being out of date with some websites on PC, but that could be because I am not fully in the beta regions and not getting the newest updates. So I cannot fault the browser itself.

Samsung makes great products, has fantastic eco-system and is also making great services to compete with other platforms. Being able to use Galaxy AI to summarize pages both on phone and PC is great, and using the translate page also comes in handy when viewing sites that don't offer English or a language you can speak.

If you're not using Samsung internet, I would recommend you try it and consider switching from your current browser, though I think piece of feedback I would give to Samsung, is bring allow you use Samsung Pay on website that support Samsung Pay.

I would love to hear what other people think of Samsung internet, why you love it or maybe why you dislike it!

Here is the news article about Samsung Internet coming to PC: https://news.samsung.com/global/samsung-internet-expands-to-pc-with-new-beta-program

I'll wait for stable but when it lands I would be happy to use it.

But also have seen some websites being unpredictable and having to go to Chrome to open / use them.

That said, I'm sure others will say it is the same in reverse.

i am using it and my feedback is the following:

- Fantastic layout and interface

- Samsung Pass not working (dont have samsung laptop)

- Some websites give error

- old chromium based

- Amazing integration with my other samsung devices

- would be good to have an icon to imediatly transfer a page to other devices

- Would be good to be able to directly send a screenshot or page etc to samsung notes. for example a icon where you can select and send to notes, somekind of integration

for me samsung pass its the biggest feature should be working, also samsung pass could have authenticator feature like microsoft or google authenticator

hope we have news soon

Finally we are getting a real ecosystem. i hope samsung expand the rollout of beta and final release . would be great to have a roadmap

i am really happy with this beta and the possibility to ditch microsoft and google.

in the future would be great to have for other great samsung apps more integration, for example calendar sync with outlook on PC sync(Outlook- calendar already usable)

@samsung would it be possible to release a roadmap?

thanks

Yeah, I would like a more stable version to come out but we will have to wait for it drop in other regions.

Those are all pretty good points and great feedback, I would like a Windows Samsung Calendar app, I think Samsung Pass is supported on the browser but I think a lot of people would be happy if they made a standalone program for PC so you can have access to passwords and auth codes like Proton has made now.
