Links Opening In Apps, Instead Of Browser

Hello!

I have a problem that I would quite like help with.

I want links in the "Samsung Internet" App to stay in the browser, and I've turned off the necessary settings to do so.

Which include:

Open Supported Links (Off) for every app.
Any Samsung Internet settings which prevent links from opening apps.

However, any links for Google Maps or Google Meet are still being opened in apps, instead of the browser. I am not sure why this is happening. The necessary settings are all set to prevent this, but, regardless, this is still happening. No other Google Apps/Services, except the two mentioned, are being affected, although I may have had a problem with YouTube for this issue, but I cannot remember how I resolved this.

Please help, as this is very frustrating, and I would like this resolved. Any help will be appreciated.

Try maybe to clear data under app settings /storage
Then redo link setting

Settings > apps > choose default apps > opening links > disable open links in apps and > instant apps (check if its off)

I think whilst you have the apps installed, the links will default to the app. Any reason why the app being an issue?

There's always a setting, for each app, so that links will open in the browser. However Google Meet and Maps seem to be ignoring this. I have no idea why. 😬
