How to activate Google voice typing on the Samsung keyboard?

Hello,
I have a problem — I want to use Google voice typing on my Samsung keyboard, but the option is grayed out. Voice recognition works with Gboard, and Speech Recognition & Synthesis is installed on my device. Can you help me?

It's a little annoying but goes like this.

Open keyboard, press cog icon. If you don't see it, press the 3 dots on the right and try again. Scroll down, set voice input to google or samsung, press the "keyboard button on navigation bar" button, turn it on.

You should now have a mic icon below the keyboard

Hello, head into your phone settings > Then click General management > Click Samsung keyboard > scroll down to voice input > then choose Google voice input.

If you're referring to that not working, could you post a screenshot so I may see it.

Thanks for the reply, but that’s not quite my question — my voice typing option is greyed out. Any idea why?

Aaah, apologies. Did some testing, it seems to grey out if you have this disabled. Make sure it's enabled and hopefully the option will be available to you
