There has been a lot of noise/ information about AppCloud recently.

Can Samsung confirm which devices this is installed on and whether the data is being shared with third parties. In the event that it is, which jurisdictions are those parties.

I have always valued Samsung as a brand, but if the reports are anything to go by, and this is correct, then Samsung is acting unethically, immorally and in violation of privacy laws.

Appreciate the concerns of yourself and others regarding this. We've raised those concerns at the Samsung side and are awaiting a response from that.

Hi @bjones-uk As @AntS has mentioned we are awaiting an official response . The app tends to be preinstalled on Budget and Mid Range Devices. Would just say that I would wary of some reports on social Media.

This is irrelevant. Any tech company that allows such apps to be installed is ethically and morally corrupt. Totally indefensible.

Let's see what the official response is. This topic has been raised before and there was silence. This points to one direction.

What I heard about this App was pre install app or some device the app is suddenly appears. CloudApp collects entire data and send such as location, message, calls, media, finger prints. Also the cloudApp is the third party company called ironsource now owned by unity both are Israel company. You cannot uninstall but can be disable, not sure if you disable stop collecting the data.

Why is samsung allowing this? We had the pm of isreal saying every mobile had isreali software in it. Why is our personal data being monitored by this genocidal state?

This is appaling, needless to say I will seriously reconsider purchasing a Samsung device when my current phone needs replacing!
