Smart Tag 2 Battery

I got two Smart Tags in June/August 2025.

One has sufficient battery. One is showing as low. I am worried the battery is showing as low so quickly- is this normal?

They are both on car keys.

Hi! Are these the original batteries or ones that were replaced by yourself?

I've noticed sometimes, especially on Amazon, they can come with expired batteries. Try replacing them and see if this happens again.

The one ordered direct from Samsung is sufficient. The one ordered from Amazon is low. I will replace the battery but which one do they use?

Seems my guess was spot on haha- hopefully sorted with fresh batteries. *experienced similar with amazon products

*make sure to check dates of the new batteries and go with a good brand

I find that the CR2032 batteries don't last very long, I have many gadgets that take them type batteries even if you buy the high performance ones like Duracell.

I think I will return the one from Amazon and just order the 4 pack from Samsung. I have a £50 voucher so might as well! Thanks for all the info and advice 👍
