Best photo editing app.

Hi,

Can someone recommend a decent editing app that doesn't contain anything AI, or if it does, can be turned off. All I can seem to do is basic editing through the gallery app. I'd like to be able to edit photos on my phone rather than having to put them on my laptop to do it.

I use photoshop and lightroom
But obviously they are subscription based.
But can use things like capture one etc if you are willing to pay
Not sure about the free apps as usually they have advertising or limited features

But depends on what level of editing you like to do

Hi. For the most part it would be basic editing but hopefully I will be doing more as I get better. I'll have a look at Photoshop and Lightroom. Cheers.

Rare FREE app which not use any AI is Google's Snapseed, and I use it a lot

Second recommendation for Google Snapseed if you are after more than stock OneUI Gallery but no subscription for further AI tools.

It's free (with no ads) compared to Lightroom but has many of the same tools. You can only use basic tools in Lightroom for free.

Depends on the level they use in Adobe software. Only some tools are banned for correction in photo comp correction.

I only use the AI camera and RAW specific denoiser (You can do basic colour denoise without) and the AI masks sometimes as it's just quicker for selecting the sky but you can do it with luminosity without.

I don't like the generation part as it will make me lazy not to strive to just do things better natively at capture.

You can use the AI features in the editing software.
I prefer to do the adjustments myself

I also recommend Google snapseed. There's also Galaxy Enhance X and Google photos as some basic editing tools too.
