Adding train tickets to Samsung Wallet?

As far as I can tell, it's impossible to do this for some reason. If you tap the setting to do this it directs you to download an app, which, as far as I can tell, is just a third-party portal for booking trips, which is no use to me.

So I either need to use Samsung for paying and Google for tickets, or just forget about Samsung altogether, and use Google for everything............

In terms of virtual tickets and passes, samsung wallet is a decent bit behind yeah.

They don't support the universal pass system that google and apple support, meaning they're limited to specifically the apps they make supported.

How ridiculous. I don't want to use some obscure third party app, I want to book my tickets with the TOC.

Why can't I just scan in the QR code like I can with other apps??

As to "why" isn't something we can answer. Being a forum for customers, we have the same info you do.

In terms of "security," I'm sure Samsung has that basis covered when using third-party applications.

If you're that concerned, as mentioned, Google supports universal pass systems.
