What apps are slowing down your device which are specific to samsung? If you're not using them, I can't imagine theyre remotely affecting anything unless actively being used/ opened. Settings- apps- *app- storage- "Clear data" will delete data related to app and free up storage. Some apps you can also just disable

If you don't like the apps added by Samsung, why not go with Pixel? Unless you mean the apps which are installed as Android standard.

Samsung has the worst bloatware I've ever seen and over half of them are not deletable so it slows galaxy devices down which is bad if you use demanding games or applications and over half of them do nothing and only take up space it would be nice if they were removed

It depends which device you get. If you get a cheaper A series, yeah it has some bloatware, it keeps the price of the device down. Unless you blindly press yes on every ticket box, it's usually only maybe 4 apps. It's like 15 to 20 if you don't read the buttons you're pressing.

For the S series and more expensive A series, there isn't any. There are samsung apps on the device, but these are more features than bloatware. You are also free to delete them if you wish. Though honestly, having a good default set of high quality ad free apps is really nice. Also of note, 99% of the samsung own brand apps don't run in the background. They also aren't very big. Meaning they won't affect battery life.

Eg, samsung notes and my files. You don't need to go find an ad riddled notes app with micro transactions or bugs, it's already there. Don't like it? Just uninstall it

Little update, these 3 apps I would consider bloatware. I personally disable them as much as my phone will allow me

Most of samsung apps you can't uninstall them only disable it by force stop settings. There are a nuisance but still Samsung installs them unlike Google apps which you can.

I dont use Gmail, Chrome, Maps or anything Google except Play Store

Everything Google is either uninstalled or disabled. So for me, the Samsung messages, phone, contact, notes etc..are very useful.

We will all have different preferences. If u want a bloatware free phone, then as someone suggested Pixel might be the best option.

Not OP but I'm so glad you brought this up! When you say you "disabled them as much as your phone allowed," can you share what parts you were truly able to disable? I've had the worst experience with Meta. 😩

Frankly, it should be illegal that Meta is on our device but "hidden" from Apps, has to be typed out in order to find, can't uninstall, can't turn off through Quick Panel, and disabling won't actually turn them off and keep them off. 😡 Moreover, I don't recall it being on my phone originally and am pretty sure it came through a Software Update or Security Update, but it was mentioned in the details when getting said update, so it seems even more slimy. 😠 I cannot stand knowing that my microphone is stuck on and Zuck/Meta/Data Scrapers have full access to everything! 😡

##Meta #Privacy #Data #Security #Tech #Update #Phone #Software #Microphon

So, you force stop the app, clear app data, disable the app. Doing that to all the apps should make them stop working. I would also say uninstall updates but I don't believe that option is there.

Also, your mic isn't used by those meta apps, so that's not a worry. My guess is they exist to keep meta apps running in the background to give quick notifications. The apps themselves don't have permission to access your mic or anything, plus your phone always tells you if your mic is on with a green dot
