Samsung Chat Messages

My samsung chat message service was active on my S24+, Ive upgraded to the new fold 7 and now it only using the normal samsung sms service.

Ive used the 'register for chat service' via the message app setting but im still waiting after 3 days.

Surely my mighty fold 7 is capable of rcs/chat messaging ?

It will be capable, something is probably just getting confused thinking your old device is still registered. Ideally you'd disable rcs on your old device, then enable it on your new device

Yea that sounds logical. I have kept the same sim in my new phone, amd my old phone has been factory reset. Someone said it can take a few days, maybe i need a bit more patience 🤣
