Remove samsung account from phone

I would like to use the old mobile from my wife. Her samsung-account is on the phone without a password. The registered mailaccount is no longer available. How can I remove this account? Thanks a lot for your help!

I would think if you did a factory reset and reinstall from fresh it will remove your wife's account . The phone will be as it first came out the box .

Thanks a lot for your quick reply. Even then the phone asks for the samsung account, which I don't know...

Make one of your own for back ups etc . Costs nothing but saves loads of time if you decide to swap phones in future

To perform a factory reset on a Samsung phone, navigate to Settings > General management > Reset > Factory data reset. Review the information and tap Reset, then Delete all. You may need to enter your Samsung account password if you have one. If you are unable to access the settings, you can also perform a factory reset through recovery mode by powering off the device and pressing the power and volume up buttons simultaneously until the Samsung logo appears. Then select "Wipe data/factory reset" and confirm.

Steps for resetting via Settings:

Open the Settings app on your Samsung phone.

Go to General management > Reset.

Tap on Factory data reset.

Review the information and tap Reset.

Tap Delete all.

If prompted, enter your Samsung account password.

Your phone will restart and be reset to factory settings.

Steps for resetting via Recovery Mode (if unable to access settings):

Power off your Samsung phone.

Press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons simultaneously until the Samsung logo appears.

Use the Volume buttons to navigate to and select "Wipe data/factory reset".

Confirm by selecting "Yes, Delete all user data" or "Factory data reset".

Once the reset is complete, select "Reboot system now".

Your phone will restart and be reset to factory settings.

Did this, but Android just starts... It;s a samsung s9, driving me crazy

Should be able to factory reset.

Note- if after this it asked you for an account theres not much you can do. For security if theres a google account you cant get into its basically an expensive brick. This is for theft protection

How to
First make sure to plug phone into a pc
enter Recovery Mode and then select the factory reset option. First, power off the phone. Then, press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons simultaneously until the Samsung logo appears, then release both buttons. Use the Volume down button to navigate to "Wipe data/factory reset" and press the Power button to select it. Confirm by selecting "Yes" with the Volume down button and then the Power button. This will erase all data and reset the phone.
