Looks legit. It's a new policy that samsung has introduced due to data protection regulations. Any accounts that are inactive for 12 months will be deleted. You can simply just sign in with your samsung account, and everything will be normal.

I have had this email saying that all my data iwill be deleted from my Samsung Cloud as I haven't used it in a year. I'm wondering if it's a scam? The email looks legit. When I searched 'Samsing Cloud' it seems that my photos, calendar, health etc are synced to it and it's being used on a daily basis.

Please advise as to what I need to do.

Thanks.

It's a legit email, I also received the email as did a few of friends and family. Essentially it's a way for Samsung to delete accounts and protect people's data if they haven't used their account for the year. As long as you use your Samsung account I.e use your Samsung phone etc you won't lose anything.

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

It's best to contact Samsung support to confirm. This normally only happens with inactive accounts. If you're using it, it's best to confirm with them.

It’s likely legitimate, Samsung has been shutting down unused Samsung Cloud storage and sends deletion notices like this. Just sign in to your Samsung account and check Cloud settings; if your data is still syncing, it usually won’t be deleted, but you can back up anything important to be safe.
