Dark mode not working on app screen

Sorry for yesterday another enquiry following the UI update, but now dark mode will not enable for my app screen. Any suggestions please?

Hi.

We normally recommend a wipe cache either of the app concerned or a full phone wipe cache.

Thanks, but it’s the app screen, or app drawer itself that I’m trying to apply dark mode too, not an individual app. It was fine before the one ui7 update; had everything just as I wanted, but the update has screwed up several things!

Hi

Two things.

1. If just update maybe keep checking for app updates in Samsung store like home UI etc.

2. Do a phone WIPE CACHE.

Bonus . Simple phone restart.

Extra bonus tip. Reset settings only and see if it helps.

Extra extra bonus tip. Change theme and and then change again .

Thanks. As an old man, I’m not perhaps as well versed on these things as I should be. I’ve restarted phone several times with no effect. How do I wipe cache, and ‘reset settings only’ please?

Still unable to make dark mode work on apps screen since one ui7 update. Has anyone resolved this please?
