One UI 7 sucks i hate it how / why please fix

Why the hell do they do such dumb ***** ... contacts should be listed in alphabetical order, with a section of favorites. In no realm of reality do I need a list of 30 plus names of recently added contacts nobody gives a flying ***** who i added recently (of all the absolutely idiotic ridiculous ***** to add) that's why they're in alphabetical order, no one cares who was added recently ... Samsung please please please fix this ... at least give me the option to get rid of it because I bet you dollars to Donuts most people just like me have no interest in who they added last it doesn't freaking matter. also who's brilliant idea is it to move the search bar to the other side of the screen top vs bottom or left vs right and not give me the option to move it back ... this isn't the first time they've done this but it's stupid ... sure not everybody wants the search bar on the top or the Google voice typing button on the right ... obviously you moved it because someone said they didn't like it there but that only accounts for part of the population .... why move them to the other side of the screen Without the option To do both? Why don't I get to pick where I liked it better??? Lame lame lame ... you're supposed to be better than this. Also the battery life is less than half... why is it every time you guys try to update something it breaks more stuff .... and why does it always add new stuff I didn't sign up for ...I didn't sign up for the extra games I don't want them on my phone.... and those are just the things I found in the first two hours with this update God knows what I'll find in the days to come of actually using this ...I'll say it again lame

Are you really adding this many contacts? But yes- should be able to change it...this to my understanding has been a thing for years, not just ui7

To my understanding the app search in the app drawer is related to Android 15, so Google—which Samsung doesn't have a choice in—controls it. A few people have mentioned this

After an update, it takes 14 days for your battery to optimize; this isn't new. This will sort itself out.

I don't get randomly installed apps… unsure what's going on there.

It amazes me how even the most slightest and insignificant changes really irks people, but I guess life must be good for you to spend this much energy trying to note any difference between OneUI versions.

Since ive had s25 ultra with one ui 7 ive never had that issue. Mine comes up in alphabetical order

Mine updated last night. I absolutely hate it. I remember when iPhone did this with io7 and changed everything on the iPhone. I been with Samsung ever since. The Motorola razr flip is coming out the 15th. Next week I'm going shopping. I would go with Google pixel but they only have a fold not a flip style yet.

I think they geared it towards an Apple product. If we wanted an Apple phone we would have purchased it versus the android.

I don't like it. I don't want it. So Samsung needs to fix it.

Or maybe we're all just frustrated because it's further proof that we own nothing anymore. If Samsung decides to make a dozen stupid changes for no reason, we just have to suck it up and deal with it. I personally hate every change I've noticed so far, and have found that there is no way to change them back.

The rule for UI should be that all changes should be opt in. This will be my last Samsung anything.

I own 3 devices with OneUI 7.0, the S25 Ultra, Tab S8 Ultra and S21 Ultra. I've personally found NOTHING about the 7.0 update that changed it significantly over previous OneUI. Perhaps it's not a smartphone you want, but a picture frame where nothing changes in it's UI?

Anyone found a way to reduce the icons on the Home screen? UI7 made them bigger on my S23 Ultra. Also the running apps, why have we copied Apple?
The whole update appears to be centered around making things bigger, with less options. Notifications - any way to change that back?

Why are you trying to make Samsung look like Apple? If I wanted an Apple phone, I would have bought one.

Almost everything in this update feels unnecessary, but the worst part is the inconsistent font sizing. In some areas, the font size has been reduced, while in others it remains unchanged. As a result, I can no longer set a single font size that’s both readable and practical for everyday use. These tiny, Apple-style fonts need to go — urgently.

This update feels more like a provocation than an improvement.

Please bring the last version back...

It does suck, especially the battery icon, funny how they use different (and much better looking) icons in any ads or media showing them.

I can't see the battery icon now.I told lady on phone this morning that samsung should focus on security updates and not mess with ARE phones.
