Contacts separation for personal and business use on WhatsApp

Hi everyone,

I recently switched from iOS to the Samsung Z Fold 5 and I’m loving the experience so far. However, I’m having trouble managing two WhatsApp accounts — the standard one and WhatsApp Business.

On previous phone, WhatsApp settings had an option called “Limited Access” under Contacts permissions. This allowed me to choose specific contact lists or control which contacts each account could access. It was really helpful for privacy and separation between personal and business use.

Now on my Z Fold 5, when I go into WhatsApp’s permission settings, I only see “Allow” or “Don’t Allow” for Contacts. I’ve been searching for a solution for two months with no luck.

Has anyone figured out a way to manage contact access more granularly on Samsung?

Personally, I would reach out directly to WhatsApp regarding their compatibility with Android devices for this feature.

Hopefully, someone here may be able to share their personal experience, too.

*looking online Im not finding a solution besides using seperate sims

I am using 2 saperate sim already, how would that be a solution?

Where did you say that in your post?

I said the only thing I'm seeing online is to use a second SIM, not that it was a solution. You're welcome.
