Gallery - how to synchronize albums with Google Drive / Photos

I have 12 albums in the Gallery (Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra). I can see all the photos in Google Drive / Google Photos, which is the place of all my back ups. However, I cannot see the albums that I have set in the Gallery. In Google Drive I have chosen to synchronize all the albums in the phone. Yet, no albums in Google Photos. What to do?

Samsung Gallery syncs to Microsoft onedrive if you have that settings enabled to sync as what's in your gallery won't sync to Google photo.

In Google photos go to Collections at the bottom, then choose On This Device, this will show all the albums on the device itself and will tell you if it's backed up to Google Photos or not
