Whats App call doesn't turn on my screen

Hello, i recently changed from my S22 ultra to the S25 Ultra and now my phone doesn't turn on when I receive a call on WhatsApp. This never happened in the S22 and I have tried absolutely everything for it to work but nothing works. All notifications are on, I'm not in do not disturb mode, and nothing works. Normal phone calls turn on my screen without problem but WhatsApp calls don't. How can i fix this?

Hi

Whatsapp also have had their share of hiccups it seems.

I had issues and a reinstall solved it.

Maybe try that first

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community.

Go to your phone's Settings > Notifications > Apps.

• Select WhatsApp and make sure all notification toggles are turned on.

Open the Play Store and update WhatsApp to the latest version.

Settings > Apps > WhatsApp > Notifications. Make sure all are allowed.

If you've already done all of this:
Apps > WhatsApp > Storage > Clear cache.
Uninstall WhatsApp and reinstall it.

Hi there and warm welcome 👋

Try uninstall and reinstall the app.

Also are you using any power saving mode? If so go to settings > battery > battery protection > set it to bacis or turn it off and see if it works.

Same issue here, but Whatsapp is not the only one, Facebook messenger doing the same, so it has to be something from Samsung. On S23 Ultra had no issues, since I changed to S25 Ultra this happened.

Yes, the problem had with the WhatsApp calls and luck screen on my galaxy A06 5G, was solved when l reinstall the WhatsApp.
