Snore detection without charging

Hey does anyone know how to enable snore detection if the phone is not charging? I don't care about losing charge overnight as I can easily charge it in the morning. If I needed full charge the following day then I would charge at night. Sometimes you forget etc. Can you make the sleep app detect snoring anyways?

I've not found a way of doing it other than connecting to a portable battery pack, think unless the phone is in a charging state it will not record the audio.

Short answer is no, you would need to pluc your phone to charge.

As someone who uses this feature (snore) make sure to turn on battery protection (stops charging after a certain % to protect battery

Mainly just forget to put the phone on charge or leave it in bed

Not sure about battery drain but I know it's because people plug their phone to charge overnight before going to sleep.

Yeah but sometimes you forget, especially if you don't plan on using the phone much the next day (first world problems with phones with crazy batteries)
