Lost Email Icon & Can't Get it Back

Hi - I managed to erase the little red email icon (with a letter symbol on it) from the front page of my home screen, where I keep it. I've looked for it in the apps display (the icon with 3x3 dots), where I ALWAYS find app icons to move or restore, and I can't find it anywhere. I can open Settings, look under apps, and find it easily, but I can't figure out how to send an icon back to my front page. I have a Galaxy Note 20. Can anybody help with that? Thank you - AMcK

Have a look in One UI Home settings under hide apps from home and apps screen just incase it's set as hidden.

I guess you are talking about Gmail, with red letter M on it. There is a chance you disabled the app. Hence, it disappeared from the app drawer and home screen.
In the settings, go to apps, look for it, tap on it, at the bottom tap enable
