There are several threads, all basically saying that banking apps don't work in secure folder.

Using s24:-

I installed PayPal and Halifax Bank (UK) apps and they work fine. On installing Barclays app (UK), it fails with an internal error code. So, not sure why, but some apps work and others don't.

Most likely an issue for the app developers I think

When following the Barclatcard app setup instructions (app registration following install into secure folder) it returned error code T0020, which Google advised was a Barclays app internal error. I contacted the app support team, and they asked me to do things which the app in secure folder install was not offering; they then claimed the error code was not from their app. Poor support. They could simply have suggested that there seems to be an incompatibility between their app and abilities of secure folder (app is great in standard install).

Hi there, this problem is mainly due to samsung decided to block sms and call data access permission in secure folder which in turn prevents banking apps from verifying registered phone numbers as per bank record. Apps that can work without verifying mobile no. Will work fine but apps that needs to verify registered mobile no presence in phone fail to work properlt

At first my Santander App would not completely install in Secure Folder SF as it was looking g for verification via a sent link in my Gmail App which is outside of SF. Once I added the Gmail app in SF it all worked transparently. One can have a shortcut to an app in SF on the homescreen. Hope thus info is useful
