Scenario: You've created some notes on your phone and now are on your MacBook or non Samsung Windows 11 device and want to develop the notes further.

So you open up the app-- oh. There is no app. Okay that's fine, I'll just use the web versio-- oh, there's no web version too.

Thankfully there's a one note integration, so you open one note, open up the quick notes button, find the note and then edi-- oh, you can't edit the notes.

So if you want to edit your note, you gotta copy it into onenote, edit it there, and then I guess install the one note app on your phone, take the edited note, copy it into Samsung note and delete the old note?

Ugghh... What?

Let's just look at the competition for a second.

Google Keep is cross platform and has apps on android and the IOS store. It also has a website where you can view and edit all your notes there.

Apple Notes is only available on Apple Devices, but if you go on iCloud.com you can see and edit all your notes there, on any device.

Onenote is Microsoft's option and it's available on iOS, android, windows, macos and has a website too.

So yeah. Illustrates how far behind Samsung Notes is. If it had a web view which I could access on any device then I'd use it without hesitation. But it doesn't.

Please add one! You can keep the windows app Samsung exclusive, I don't mind. A web view would be more than enough!

Hi,
I hear you. Samsung Notes app for Windows PC was pulled a while back and is now only compatible with Samsung PC's. A move which annoyed me too. I now use OneNote to sync my Samsung Notes to, but even that's a bit clunky.
Please feed this back via your Samsung members app. Just head to the support section and tap 'Ask questions '. We're just users here like yourself.

Also what about via Phone link?

My opinion is completely the opposite. I don't want Samsung Notes anywhere near the web, I want it to stay private on my phone.

If you are using a Samsung account all notes are synced anyway. Maybe just make the website require a qrcode validation at login and put the ability to disconnect web clients from the phone app.

Syncing samsung notes to Onenote just adds another layer of clunkiness to an already clunky Onenote, especially since you can't even modify those notes on Onenote. Samsung notes should have its own app for non-samsung PCs or a web version at the very least.

Yeah, this sucks. I just suck up the lower quality of the notes, because using the app is so great. However, you can run S-note on any PC by pretending that it's a samsung. Look online for simple scripts that change the computer model to "Samsung", start the S-note app, and then change it back. As expected, the windows version of the app is slow and rough around the edges, but does the job of pulling up the notes in a pinch. The PDF export quality is the same from the windows app. The thing is, all of the vector data is stored in the PDF (because it shows up if you open same PDF with S-note), but the regular PDF viewers do not show it.

I've been looking for a solution for about 2 years...Store app on PC, it's a joke.. indeed it works with DEX, but it doesn't give you the mobility you need...

Agree... The app would be 100 times better with a web editing option 👍

Yes, this is really a big problem, I use this app for many reazons, productivity, family, etc, but I don't use a samsung PC, so it's impossible to sinc with my pc, every time I need something, I need to go to my phone, or send a text from the computer to my phone, so I can copy and paste in samsung notes, this is the same in the other direction! Please Samsung, allow at least a connection to Samsung notes through web!!!

Am I missing something here? I'm new to the Samsung ecosystem having recently purchased the Z Fold and Tab S10. I'm trying to get acclimated with Samsung Notes and I found a solution to this issue: 1. download Samsung Notes, Samsung Cloud, and Samsung Account apps on Windows PC ; 2. open Samsung Notes on Windows PC and type in notes and/or use the Tab S10 to handwrite notes with an S Pen after connecting the Tab S10 to the Windows PC using the Second Screen function on the Tab S10; an alternative to using the Second Screen function is to download the SuperDisplay app from the Google Play Store (not sure if available for Apple devices) and use it to convert the Tab S10 into a wired or wireless pressure‑sensitive pen display input device for the Windows PC.
