Tap To Answer Calls

One thing that bugged me about answering calls is having to swipe to answer.

But just noticed we can now tap to answer with the updated software.

This for me is such a good thing as sometimes swiping I end up doing numerous times to answer.

Which is really annoying.

If you go into to the phone app and tap on the 3 dots top right

Go into settings.

Also there is Answer using speaker. Which is also new.

Great find @Glenntech. I sometimes have the same problem. Numerous attempts to answer. Hope they do this with the watches. It's worse then the phone.

I'd love to be able to answer a call by using a gesture with the Samsung Ring too.

Well I'm not sure as when I do a software update I tend to update apps as well.
But I think the 6.1 update includes this option

@Anonymous User: If you can't see this option on your Galaxy A25, then it may be possible to implement the feature by heading to Settings > Accessibility > Interaction and dexterity > Assistant menu > Replace swipe with single tap > On.

It does look like flagship phones with the most recent update will have this option integrated into the Phone settings, but this should act as a workaround in the meantime.

Oh yes had this on already thanks .. but doesn’t do auto speaker on. I’d think this surely will come with most models eventually….
