I recently used WIFI, and I assume it is WIFI Direct for around 60GB worth of transfer. It failed part way, though as I interfered with it, then started over with C to C, wouldn't have said it was that much quicker.

Hello,

We will change our devices from SM-A525F to SM-A556B, and we are trying to use smart switch for users be able to backup.

We want to use USB cable, but we get an error: "This phone can't receive data from your old device through a USB cable. [...]" see attached screenshot.

It's strange because if we do reverse sender/receiver test (new phone to old, useless of course) it works...

Can you help us please?

Hi, yes it's USB-C to USB-C and it works in other way sender/receiver.
About Wifi, we will test it, but of course using USB is the best for quick and secure transfer, in Wifi we are not so confident about the speed.
Technically how smart switch use Wifi? I guess it is Wifi direct, right?
