Messages app no longer shows Spotify previews on share links

The main issue is with the built in Messages app. About three months ago or so, I would get Spotify share links and it would pop up a preview image of the album art and the song name. Since then it now only shows the link and nothing else. I've tested the links in other apps like Facebook messenger and the album and song name shows up so I'm fairly certain it's an issue with the Samsung messages app.

I tried turning the links preview setting on and off in the app, no luck. I tried changing the share link to see if the link was broken or too long, didn't work. I just upgraded to the S24, still not working. I tried sharing using the SMS share option instead of just copying the link, didn't work. I've tried everything.

Not sure where the issue lies, but there is an issue with Spotify previews in (Google and Samsung) messages. I see previews for Apple, SoundCloud and Deezer, but not for Spotify and Amazon Music.

I also have this issue in WhatsApp - cover art for Spotify song shares in WhatsApp just won't appear, instead it's just the link
