Samsung Wallet - Add cards, tickets from pdf, picture or QR code

Sometime ago I tried to use Google Wallet then Samsung Pay (now Wallet) to basically import non supported items, but had mixed results, loyalty cards are fine.

On holiday recently I recieved the airline QR code, scanned it using my mobile and bosh, also added to my Watch and Calendar.

Any road steps below for anyone like me who didn't know

I think SW and GW are on par with each other but I still use GW

I'm a bit Samsung fan boy but I agree, I think Google wallet has the edge. It's more open platform and compatible. I recently booked some tickets for a museum and I received them as a PDF. On Samsung wallet it's a no go but on google wallet, it's no problem.

I much prefer Samsung wallet aesthetically, I think the most recent Google rebrand looks like it's made for children. The wallet has these huge icons and logos, whilst Samsung wallet is more refined. But in terms of functionality, Google just take the prize... Easy to use, compatible across a wide range and simpler!
