In a way, yes, other than the areas mentioned above. Apps in the secure folder can still show notification though unless you set them not to show. It's sort of like they're installed in a different user profile on the phone and you can only run them from the secure folder.

I heard the Secure Folder is now much improved wherein you can hide any documents from third-party apps and third-party applications on it. is this True?

So, for example I hid Disney+ on the Secure Folder. Does that mean I cannot find the Disney+ app on the apps tray. True?

And is it true i can hide the Secure Folder app icon in the apps tray and only gain access via the drop down notification panel? Is that true?

This is true though apps in the secure folder aren't completely hidden, they still show up outside the secure folder in places like battery use, I'm not 100% but maybe the notifications settings, installed apps or data use too. The old Knox was far better, that kept everything separated.

But would those apps at least not show in the main apps drawer?

Definitely not, not even with a different launcher.

So, essentially Secure Folder hides the apps unless you invoke them by clicking on the Secure Folder app (if not hidden) OR icon in the notifications panel. Am i correct?

The Secure Folder is an encrypted space to keep important apps and files locked away safe and secure. If you just wish to hide some apps from the Apps and Home Screens, head to Settings > Home Screen > Hide apps from Home and Apps screens.

Hiding apps using this way is clunky, confusing and a mess. Because it is so inferiorly less intuitive and poorly implemented. You click, then tap to hide, etc. If you want to invoke (i.e. find) the hidden app you have to do the whole procedure again.

The way Secure Folder is explained to me i could probably live with. But the way Oxygen OS and Hyper OS implements it is so smooth, so easy and so intuitive. You can hide apps via a keypad code or gestures. Nothing OS does it also briliantly by swiping left on the apps tray.

Why haven't Samsung done this i really don't know.
