Samsung notes issue

I am trying to extend my samsung notes toolbar from my tablet to my s21 ultra but it won't work because it is asking me to update both devices. However, both devices are up to date with the version specified online. How do I resolve this?

Hi and welcome to the community

Some reports saying Dark Mode needs to be disabled on both devices for it to work. Check if you're using Dark mode and switch to Light mode.

Hi, thank you for responding.

I already tried that but it's just asking me to update it but both my devices are updated. I also tried clearing cache and nothing happened.

The update may refer to the version of Samsung Notes. Head to the Galaxy store on both devices and check for updates to the Samsung Notes app. Current version is 4.4.21.63

Both versions say I have the 4.4.21.63 versions and it's up to date

What UI version is your S21 Ultra running? What tablet model do you have and what UI is it running?

My s21's ui is 6.1

I'm using a galaxy tab a7 but i dont know its ui

Hmmm not 100% sure if the Tab A7 is compatible. I don't know if it's only available on the S series of tablets. Works fine on my TabS9 Ultra. I'll do some digging online and see if I can find something.

Well, I could only find reports saying only the S series of tablets are compatible with this feature. Can't find anything conclusive to say the A7 is not. There is nothing on the Samsung website either. If you've got the Samsung members app, then I'd suggest heading to its support section and tap 'Ask questions '. Someone from Samsung should be able to give you a definitive answer.
