I do NOT get a "missed call notification" for "call waiting".

Clarification of the erred use case:

- I am on a call 1

- I gate call 2 while I am on call 1

- I do get a call waiting notification while I am on call 1.

- I stay on call 1. I do not answer call 2.

- I expect to get a "missed call notification" for call 2 which I did not answer (as a reminder to get back to the caller). I do not get it.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with Android 14.

I checked it on another Galaxy and was able to simulate the same misbehavior.

Can you check

Settings>notifications>app notifications. Tap the 3 dots top rh of screen and tap on 'show system apps. Scroll down and tap on 'Phone', tap on notifications categories and toggle on everything in that list. Do the same for 'Phone calls' and 'Phone services'.

However, you've raised a very good question because, for the life of me, I can't ever recall getting a missed call notification after ending the call I'm already on. I get the normal notification beeps whilst on the call to let me know somebody else is calling me, but don't ever remember getting the missed call icon when finished.

I cannot toggle the notifications categories. The switches are disabled. But they are on.

I did all that but on a missed call 'a show as pop-up button' is off and i cannot toggle it on because is system highlighted

Same here the buttons are system highlighted or disabled i cannot do anything

So, in that list, tap on 'Missed call'. Tap sound and choose a sound. Go back to the main app list and scroll down to Phone calls, notification catagories, tap on missed calls, tap on sound and choose a sound.

I'm unsure if this needs to get toggled on anyway as mine is off too.

I can't toggle on any button it is greyed out
