      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, I have forgotten my pin and need to reset my phone&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;I have watched clips on how to do this but my mobile is not giving me the option to reset&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any ideas. I have been to EE and they were no help. Tried to navigate Samsung website to see if I could send mobile to them. I can't find the answer&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>The phone needs to be plugged into a computer while you do the reset process... It's weird as no other phone needs it but same thing happened to my daughter's phone last week &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":grinning_face_with_sweat:"&gt;😅&lt;/span&gt;</description>

      <description>Plug it into a PC/Laptop using your USB cable.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Normally the phone needs to be turned off fully to be able to boot into recovery but give these steps a go.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Press and hold volume up and power button until you see Samsung logo. If you get into recovery mode, use volume down button to select data reset and press power button to confirm.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If that doesn't work try this way&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Press and hold volume up, volume down and power button at same time. As soon as screen goes blank Press and hold volume up and power button until you see Samsung logo. If boot into recovery then select option for data reset using volume down and click power button to confirm.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You will also need to know which Google account and password you linked to phone to go through set up process.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If all this fails, call Samsung Support and book repair for engineer but it's not a manufacturing defect so it won't fall under warranty.</description>
