I had no problems transferring stuff to my pc with my old phone. Now wife made me upgrade and it takes an act of a no-good- for nothing Congress and now vids are mp4? What's that? I give up. OH, what is HEVC and H.264???

Best method is to invest in a USB C drive, you can via PC with Phone link and Windows Explorer but it can be slow depending on your PC and the size of the files.

Thank you, what is M? I did get my files to transfer but I can't play my vids, pc says I need to download a code. The files are now in mp4 format.

Sorry not sure what happened, m, should have read is a more size-efficient and usable format.

For Windows you will need to download the correct video/audio codecs, or just download and use VLC Player, its free, simple and plays just about everything.
