File Transfer

when my samsung s21 is connected to my PC via USB, I can copy files from phone to PC but not files from PC to phone.
I am in USB transfer mode, with a working samsung cable. I have ganted permission for the PC to access my phones storage
On the notification about the USB connection
I have chosen File Transfer
I have granted access to my PC permission to transfer files.
I have restarted both my phone and your PC.
I've never had a problem uploading files to mt previous Samsung phones.
I've repeatedly searched google to no avail.
Any ideas?

Do you know if the cable is rated for data transfer? Try a different cable or the original cable the phone came with.

S23U to Acer laptop ( Windows 11) using supplied USB-C to USB-C cable. Right click on file (any file type) I want to xfer...click 'send to'...choose my S23 from list. File transfers with no problem, but I don't get any notifications at all that its done. So my question is, have you searched for the file on the phone as you may not realise it was successful.

What makes you think the xfer failed? Do you get any error messages?
