Help! 'Recommended apps' just has random apps rather than the ones I want/need

I used to be able to wake in the morning and open my first app then swipe to recent page at the bottom and it would know which app to open next without fail. Now when I do the same it just has random apps, usually everything but the one I need which means going to home screen and selecting it. New phone about a month old, so thought it might just take a while to kick in, but no. Any recommendations to help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hey there

I "think" what you may be looking for is in the Navigation Bar?

Go to settings, display, navigation bar and select the most appropriate option for you.

I "think" the one you are looking for in the Navigation Bar is the 3 lines III which then gives you the swipe left / right option.

Hi @sortitout , Did Piper123's advice help you sort this one?

If not, then which phone were you coming from and which have you got now? And when you swipe into Recents, are you able to tap into the three dots on the top right > Settings, and adjust the 'Show recommended apps' setting?
