Samsung messages, swipe to delete

At present to delete a text message in the messages app you have to long press the message, choose move to recycle bin and thenconfirm the damson when the prompt pops up.

This is awful UI. It should be changed so that is configurable like in email apps, such as outlook, so you can swipe right to delete a message with no prompts etc... i.e. 1 user interaction rather 3.

Please Samsung make this change!

You can do that in Google messages.

Can't remember if I could do it in Samsung messages.

Unfortunately, i don't like Google messages. Might give it another go see if it's improved.
