Deleting photos and videos from Google photos

Hello,

Apologies if this is in the wrong section.

I have recently moved all of my photos and videos to my Samsung secure folder.

If I delete photos and videos from Google photos will they also disappear from my secure folder?

You have moved your photos and videos to secure folder so they'll disappear from the gallery how can you delete them? Btw I mistakenly removed all my files from internal storage but photos in the secure folder didn't get deleted so ig they won't get deleted

Just be aware files in secure folders aren't backed up

Also smartswitch doesn't move stuff when transferring to new phone

You have to remove from secure folder first

Hi, I have S9, if I uninstall the app and install again with same Samsung account, is it possible to recover the data?

You will only be able to recover data if backed up. If not backed up reinstalling apps won't help you

Yes when I try to restore it gives " unknown error. "

I have two Samsung accounts with different emails. I was supposed to sign in into my account highlighted in green, instead I removed the other account and when I accessed Secure Folder it gave me the option to delete and deleted unfortunately. It seems there's nothing that can be done.

Its a shame, even if you contact Samsung support they will not do anything, what it the purpose of this App if something happens then
